Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order with or using the services of CHEM-IS-TRY, Inc. ("Company"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Orders and Quotations
- All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- Orders require written submission via email or fax and must include: shipping and billing address, contact name, purchase order number, product name and catalog number, quantity, and authorized signature.
- The Company reserves the right to decline any order at its discretion.
Pricing and Payment
- All prices are in US dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified.
- Payment is accepted by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), check, or wire transfer.
- Payment terms for established accounts may be arranged separately in writing.
- Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price confirmed at the time of order acceptance.
Shipping and Delivery
- Orders placed before 3:00 PM EST for in-stock items will be shipped the same business day.
- Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Risk of loss passes to the customer upon delivery to the carrier.
- International shipments are subject to applicable import/export regulations and customs duties.
Returns and Refunds
Due to the nature of chemical products, returns are accepted only for products that arrive damaged or do not match the stated specifications. All return requests must be made within 7 days of receipt. Please contact info@chem-is-try.com before returning any product.
Confidentiality and Intellectual Property
Custom synthesis projects, proprietary processes, and customer-specific information are treated as strictly confidential. Non-disclosure agreements are available upon request. All intellectual property developed by CHEM-IS-TRY, Inc. remains our property unless otherwise agreed in a separate written agreement.
Limitation of Liability
CHEM-IS-TRY, Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the specific product or service in question.
Regulatory Compliance
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the purchase, use, and handling of chemical products complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Middlesex County, New Jersey.
